Birdseye maple dessert plate
Birdseye maple is an extremely precious wood characterized by its beautiful bird's-eye grain, which occurs in only one in every 500 hard maples.
This bird'seye maple dessert plate is a custom-made model created by Wisconsin-based woodworker Edward Wall, featuring an original Sfera design. The beautiful grain enhances the food served on the plate, and the plate's patina develops with use, making it a delightful piece to enjoy.
The small size beautifully holds one serving of Japanese sweets, making it the perfect size for individual servings. The medium size is slightly larger and can be used for a variety of purposes, including serving snacks and chocolates.
