These cutlery pieces are crafted from boxwood, a traditional Japanese wood. Boxwood has long been used to make Japanese combs, and is known for its fine texture and strength. In the West, it has also been beloved for its use in chess pieces. Compared to imported boxwood, Japanese boxwood is particularly known for its resilience and durability.
Sfera's boxwood cutlery, with its meticulous design and smooth texture, delivers a luxurious taste with every bite. It is finished with camellia oil, which enhances its texture and lustre over time. A different type made from camellia, another traditional Japanese wood, is also available.
